I have this tedious thing I hate doing, but end up doing manually: forwarding invoices to a special email address in lexoffice.
If you're using a different accounting app, this still might be your case:
the app only accepts emails from a specific email address.
This is a nuisance.
Thanks to AI, it is not anymore.
Here's how we do it in two steps:
Step 1: let Gemini in Gmail automatically label all emails containing an invoice or a receipt.
Before AI: you had to create all those individual rules for all the different kinds of senders and subjects.
With AI: just one simple rule in Gmail.

Step 2: let make grab or generate a PDF and send it through my account to Lexoffice.

That's it. The scenario even handles non-PDF emails and generates one. Because Lexoffice specifically only accepts attachments and doesnt process the email itself. Bottom line: about 30 mins less manual forwarding every months. 6 hours of work per year. This is how I reclaim my free time. One little automation at a time.
