Development  of a cost calculator for acquiring liquor licenses in Florida.

JotForm was used to make complex calculations possible and easy to manage. Huge pricing tables and complex logic branches. 16 pages, 317 calculations and branches, pricing matrix with over 1000 values. Everything seamlessly wrapped in a simple form.

Form automatically generates deals in pipedrive and sends out a PDF version of the estimate to the prospects.

• Previous version of the calculator was a PHP script that the client couldn't adjust or maintain himself
• The coded version had several bugs resulting in wrong calculations
• No simple way to update complex pricing matrix

• Migrate custom code version to JotForm
• Create a Google Sheet based pricing matrix to ensure simple no-code management for the client
• Save submissions to pipedrive CRM
• Generate PDFs of estimates and send them out to prospects automatically

New JotForm based solution is easier to maintain and extend, is directly integrated in pipedrive CRM and pulls data from a Google Sheet pricing matrix. The setup became more transparent and removed a necessity for a dedicated developer who's work himself thru undocumented and untested code base.

The custom pipedrive integration ensures deals are created with line items, so that an invoice can be generated in QBO with just a few clicks. Native QBO integration in pipedrive makes invoicing simple and having line items already attached to the deal simplifies the process even further.
