Neuwagen Online GmbH specializes in car deals for business clients. After receiving the quote for a team of 20 sales people from Salesforce, they knew it was time to look for something else. Salesforce is a beast when it comes to enterprise needs and having all tools in one place, but an overkill for a sales-focused team with simple demands. The cost is then exorbitant compared to other CRM offerings.

We've been approached with the task to migrate a database of 80K clients and introduce automation since everything from adding new leads to sending quotes and following up was completely manual.

Challenges

    Completely manual process means lots of wasted time and opportunity. Especially when a company receives thousands of inquiries per month. The biggest issues were

    • manually adding thousands of leads every month
    • manually sending out every single email thru the entire sales cycle
    • manually passing a contract to car vendors once the sale is made

    All the manual work snowballed into hundreds of hours spent on tedious work instead of doing what sales people do best: sell more.

    Goals

    In just two hours of zoom, we developed a road map to massively reduce manual work and enable the team to convert more of the leads. Bottlenecks we tackled:

    • Reduce the running costs of the setup by switching from Salesforce to Pipedrive CRM
    • Automate lead imports
    • Automate follow up emails for non-responsive leads
    • Automate data exports to vendors

    Results

    What we were able to achieve became one of our favorite case studies. Reaching the goals meant we were able to:

    • reduce the running cost of the setup by about 80%
    • reduce the average conversion time for new inquiries from 7 days to 3
    • simplify post-sales cycle with immediate handover of contracts to vendors

    Getting hot leads in front of sales people instead of letting them do the tedious data entry resulted in continuous growth of the company and increased the average monthly revenue by 12%.
