When consulting makes sense

When Pipedrive CRM consulting is the right choice

Consulting works best when you have the in-house capability to configure Pipedrive yourself — but need expert strategy, a second opinion, or a clear plan before you start.

You're evaluating Pipedrive

Not sure if Pipedrive is the right CRM for your business? We'll walk you through how it compares to HubSpot, Salesforce and others for your specific use case — without the sales pitch.

You're starting a new setup

You want to implement Pipedrive yourself, but need expert guidance on pipeline structure, field design, automation logic and best practices before touching a single setting.

Your existing setup isn't working

Pipedrive is live but the team isn't using it properly, data is a mess or automations are broken. A consulting audit identifies exactly what's wrong and what to fix first.

You want to scale what's working

You have a working Pipedrive setup and want to add automation, new pipelines or integrations — but need a clear plan to avoid breaking what's already running.

You're migrating from another CRM

Planning a move from HubSpot, Salesforce or spreadsheets? We'll map your existing data structure to Pipedrive and advise on the migration approach before you commit.

You need a decision, fast

A single 1-hour session can unblock weeks of back-and-forth. We've seen most Pipedrive problems before — we tell you what to do, not what to consider.

What we cover

What a Pipedrive consulting engagement covers

Every consulting engagement is structured around your specific situation — not a generic checklist. Here's what we typically work through.

01

Sales process mapping

We document your current sales flow from first contact to closed deal — identifying stages, decision points, follow-up logic and where deals currently get stuck. This becomes the foundation for your pipeline design.

02

Pipeline & field architecture

We design the exact pipeline structure, deal stages, custom fields and data model for your Pipedrive account — with clear rationale for every decision. You get a written blueprint you can implement yourself or hand to a developer.

03

Automation strategy

We identify the highest-impact automations for your process — follow-up reminders, ownership logic, deal stage triggers — and specify exactly how to build them in Pipedrive's native automation engine or via Make/Zapier.

04

Integration planning

We map which tools need to connect to Pipedrive, what data flows where, and which integration method to use (native, API, Make). You leave with a clear integration spec — no guesswork about what's possible or how to build it.

05

CRM audit & fix list

For existing Pipedrive accounts: we review your current setup, score each area (pipeline logic, data quality, automations, reporting) and deliver a prioritised action plan — what to fix now, what to improve later, and what to leave alone.

06

Ongoing guidance & review

On a retainer basis, we attend regular sessions to review how your setup is performing, advise on new automations or integrations as your business scales, and answer specific Pipedrive questions as they come up.

How it works

How a typical Pipedrive consulting engagement works

Simple, structured and focused on outputs — not just conversations.

01

Book & brief

Book a session and fill in a short brief about your business, current CRM situation and what you want to achieve. We review it before the call so we don't spend the first 20 minutes on background.

Before the call

02

Deep-dive session

A focused video call where we ask the right questions, challenge your assumptions and work through the strategic decisions together. Sessions are recorded for your reference.

1–2 hours

03

Written output

Within 48 hours you receive a written summary: pipeline design, field schema, automation spec or audit findings — depending on the session type. Something concrete you can act on immediately.

Within 48 hrs

04

Follow-up & questions

A short async Q&A window after the written output so you can clarify anything before you start building. Optional retainer sessions available if you need ongoing support.

FAQ

FAQ — Pipedrive CRM consulting & expert guidance

What's the difference between consulting and implementation?

Consulting means we advise and guide — you or your team does the technical work in Pipedrive. Implementation means we do the full build for you: pipeline configuration, automations, integrations, migration and training. Consulting is better value if you have internal capability. Implementation is better if you want it done correctly and quickly without internal effort.

How long does a consulting session take?

Strategy sessions typically run 1.5–2 hours. Audit reviews are usually 2–4 hours depending on the complexity of the existing setup. Retainer sessions are typically 1 hour weekly or bi-weekly. All sessions include a written output delivered within 48 hours.

Can consulting turn into implementation if I need it?

Yes — and this is a common path. Many clients start with a strategy session, then decide to hand the build to us after seeing how much is involved. The consulting work is fully credited toward the implementation project.

Do you only consult on Pipedrive, or other CRMs too?

Our primary expertise is Pipedrive and HubSpot. We can advise on CRM selection if you're choosing between platforms — including honest comparisons with Salesforce, Zoho and other options for your specific situation.

What do I get after the session?

Every session includes a written output within 48 hours — this might be a pipeline architecture document, a field schema, an automation spec, or an audit findings report depending on the session type. You also get a recording of the call and a 1-week async Q&A window for follow-up questions.

Do you offer ongoing consulting support?

Yes. The consulting retainer gives you regular sessions on a flexible cadence — weekly, bi-weekly or monthly — for ongoing guidance as your Pipedrive setup grows. For post-implementation support with more hands-on involvement, see our Pipedrive training & support service.
